Social Events

New Beginnings helps our members in aspects of grief and moving on with one’s life. In addition to our weekly Tuesday meetings, we offer social activities and service projects for our members. These are safe places with other divorced and widowed people. No pressure. No expectations. Just being with others who share a similar situation.

Social events happen most Saturday evenings. These include dinners at local restaurants as well as house parties at a member’s home.

Periodically, as a service project, we will volunteer as a group to events and organizations such as Ribfest, Bike Bald, and Feed My Starving Children.

IN ALL CASES, ONE MUST ATTEND THE TUESDAY MEETINGS TO BE ELIGIBLE TO ATTEND THESE EVENTS

SIGN UP SHEETS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE TUESDAY MEETINGS
